I have the opportunity to change the thin hands on my K series SS Daytona (black) to the so-called fat hands that started to appear on Daytonas during the F series, as I recall. The RSC suggested this when I noted the luminova on the thin hands is difficult to see. I would retain the original thin hands so if I were to eventually sell (unlikely) the watch to a purist, the original configuration would be available. Part of me believes this is not a good thing to do (I usually oppose modifying the basic watch from the original), but I already have trouble reading dials when I'm wearing my contacts, so the fat hands seem like a good idea. I know it's my watch and I can do what I want, etc., but I was just wondering if anyone has an opinion on this, or has done it.
Opinions?
